The problem
A fashion retailer in Dhaka had 2,400 products, thin collection pages and 12,000 crawlable filter URLs eating crawl budget. Rankings existed only for brand terms.
What we did
Month 1 - technical foundation. Blocked filter parameter URLs, fixed collection-scoped product canonicals, compressed the image library, cut LCP from 4.8s to 2.1s on mobile.
Month 2-4 - collection rebuild. Rewrote the 40 highest-intent collection pages around Bangla and English commercial queries, added buying guidance, internal links and `Product`/`Breadcrumb` schema.
Month 3-7 - topical clusters. Published 34 supporting guides (size charts, fabric care, occasion buying guides) linked into the matching collections.
Month 5-9 - authority. Earned 22 editorial mentions from Bangladeshi lifestyle and business media plus creator collaborations.
What mattered most
Crawl control and collection-page depth produced the first jump; the cluster content produced the compounding curve after month five. Nothing here was a shortcut, and nothing was undone by later updates.
